This week we're beginning our discussion of Matthew 24 and getting into a conversation about the “end times”. This is a subject that is at the heart of a lot of fierce debate within the Christian world with a lot of different hot takes, theories and time lines.
Our goal is to ignore the desire to create a timeline of events and focus on a Christocentric breakdown of Jesus is laying out about what the world is going to look like in the in between time that we currently live in.
We define some of the terms that are used here that have been given some bad explanations over the years and seek to focus on why it's so important not to lose sight of the unchanging posture that we are called into as citizens of the Kingdom of God.
