This week we're moving on from the Beatitudes and and into Jesus's recontexualization of the Law of Moses. Jesus walks through several points contained in the Law and unpacks the heart before what had been heard and taught.
The Law is something that many Christians shy away from due to it's weight and age. However, part of the significance of understand grace, mercy and the atonement in Jesus is understanding the purpose of the Law and the heart of what it's meant to show us about the very character of God and our desperate need for Him.
