A Burial for a King

This week we're finishing up Matthew chapter 27. We're covering what happened in the moments after Jesus died and impact it had. We're discussing the beautiful reality of the diverse collection of people who were present at the time of Jesus' crucifixion including the women who were present and ministered to Jesus.

From there we dig into the burial of Jesus and discuss the historical aspects of how burials were handled at this point in history and the significance of the tomb that was volunteered for Jesus to lay in.

Finally we're talking about the response of the religious leaders and the clear concern they had about Jesus even after his death when they went to Pilate to get a guard for the tomb.
