This week we're finishing up Matthew 24 by discussing the The Coming of The Son of Man. We're walking through some of the different interpretations that exist around this section of scripture including the thought that the entirety of these verses center around the destruction of the temple in A.D 70.
We're discussing how certain events in human history act as a shadow of sorts for what these verses are ultimately pointing at why it's important to consider not only the context in which Jesus saying these things but also who He's saying them to.
We wrap up the chapter by discussing why it's so important to consider the full picture when unpacking the realities of life as a Christian. Yes, we look ahead towards Heaven and towards the coming of the king but what impact does that have or should that have on how we operate here and now in the present context.
